Why is Hot Stamping necessary?
Hot Stamping provides visible identification that specifies information of particular wires and cables. A great alternative to cable markers is hot stamping which can save you money in the long run. Hot Stamp is a very important process that can communicate the Spec, type, AWG, the temperature and voltage capacity, and the certification of the wire. Clear communication on the wire is extremely important for not only our customers, but also other personnel that interact with this wire down the supply chain. It allows streamline manufacturing and a safe work space.
What wire and cable can Mil-Spec Inc. Hot Stamp ?
The marking machines can print on wires and cables ranging from .043” to .413” O.D.
What symbols are available?
To identify or customize wire, Mil-Spec Inc. can mark it with any combination of letters (A-Z) and numbers (0-9), arrows, and dashes up to 18 characters. The space between the marks is broadly adjustable.
How does Mil-Spec Inc. Hot Stamp?
Mil-Spec Inc. uses original Kingsley Hot Stamping Machinery that is able to produce clear and evenly spaced markings. The wire is fed through the counter into the marking head, where the wire is printed with custom markings. Once marked, it is automatically spooled onto a takeup reel!
