UL 1061 (CSA AWM) is a tin-plated copper wire w/an extruded semi-rigid PVC (polyvinyl chloride) insulation, and can be safely used in environments from up to 80°C. UL’s intended use for UL 1061 is the wiring of bookkeeping, accounting, time-recording machines or similar electronic equipment. UL 1061 has a nominal wall thickness of .009″, which allows for a 300V rating.

UL 1007 (CSA TR-64) is a tin-plated copper wire w/an extruded PVC (polyvinyl chloride) insulation, and can be safely used in environments from up to 80°C. This wire is often dual certified to UL 1569 which increases the maximum temperature to 105°C. UL’s intended use for UL 1007/1569 is for internal wiring of appliances, generators electronic + electrical control panels. UL 1007/1569 has a nominal wall thickness of .015″ which allows for a 300V rating.
UL 1015 (CSA TEW) is a tin-plated copper wire w/an extruded PVC (polyvinyl chloride) insulation, and can be safely used in environments up to 105°C. UL’s intended use for UL 1015 is for the internal wiring of appliances, control panels & electronic equipment. UL 1015 has a nominal wall thickness of .031” which allows for 600V rating.
